I am thinking of of building a portable battery powered media player. Naturally it will run squeezebox software (probably picoreplayer). What I don't know is how big an amplifier I should aim for. I find our SB radio quite a good volume, but I cannot find what sort of power it puts out.

So for comparison purposes, what is the power output of a SB radio? And for that matter a SB Boom?
