    Mac Mini and Sonos

I want to use a mac mini w/ SqueezeBox. I have 4 port HMDI switch attached to my TV and Sonos. Can I have the mac mini output music via HDMI cable? So I can play over Sonos Arc? Will the audio be reduced since its over HDMI? All my music are FLAC files. Any suggestions?

This is just the player correct?

Will I lose audio quality over HDMI?

Yes it is just the player.

Audio quality ... don’t know but HDMI stereo generally good.

You won’t notice any loss with a Sonos. Something more expensive / esoteric and in audiofool territory then possibly but the Sonos bar will be fine for 98% of us / our ears
