    Died Starting

    I have just installed LMS v8.0.0 on a rpi4b running Raspberry PI OS, Buster-Lite

    LMS is running but I can't connect to the weg gui

    server logs say

    Life used to be so simple

    I'm only doing this to check on the DSD PLayer Plugin problem I have on another thread

    I would stop the service and start LMS from command line. Perhaps you will see the specific error.

    I think the suggestion is to start it interactively ... something similar to
    perl slimserver.pl

    If you take a look inside the startup script you might be able to work out the command line as used.

    Well I have looked in

    and I don't have the experience or knowledge to go any further.

    Well this is embarrassing

    I decided this morning to re-download and install the same version.

    The web-gui popped up with no problem at all

    Intrigued, I did

    Code:
    pi@raspberrypi:~ $ ls
    logitechmediaserver_8.0.0~1596714594_i386.deb  logitechmediaserver_8.0.0~1596793464_arm.deb
    to find I had installed the wrong .deb

    This is the first time (I can remember ) I have done this
