    4. Assuming no errors, then cp the relevant directory, again as per the readme instruction

    Good Luck!
is this line correct or i have to modify ?
    cp -r build/arch/5.26/aarch64-linux-thread-multi /path/to/slimserver/CPAN/arch/5.26/

Yes, you have to modify it to suit your CPU architecture and your Perl version. I think it was something like:

    Code:
    cp -r build/arch/5.30/arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/arch/5.30/
Once you've compiled your binaries, it 'should' be obvious...

It works... Quite long installation process and last copy line modified, but the webbrowser is open and everyone seems finding the server.
I will test all that next days, internet connection is awful tonight.
    Thanks a lot!

    Well done!

IIRC the build process itself took a real long time.

For future reference, can you recall your exact cp statement? Was mine even close?

    Very close!

    cp -r home/ubuntu/slimserver-vendor/CPAN/build/arch/5.30/aarch64-linux-gnu-thread-multi /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/arch/5.30/

je suis etonné de ne pas trouver un arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int, mais bon, ca semble fonctionner!

    ok,
i have a problem with database.
My hdd is mount on the pi wich has lms.
    first scan was ok.
But i can't see files i add after.
and new scan gives nothing, the lms database doesn't see it.

i tried to check permission with ls -dl /mnt/maxtor/musique
    drwxrwxr-x 179 ubuntu lms 20480 Aug 23 06:44 /mnt/maxtor/musique

    well ok
    if i use sudo chown -R ubuntu:lms /mnt/maxtor/musique
my new folder appears in lms database, and i can scan with lms, but i have to do this each time i add a new folder...
