Spotty v4.2.0 have suddenly stopped working

    Hi,

Spotty v4.2.0 have suddenly stopped working on LMS and Squeezebox Touch.

When pushing the Spotty icon the only reaction is “Wating for 127.0.0.1……”

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Spotty app several times. I am running Windows 10 and Logitech Media Server Versjon: 8.0.0 – 1596004420.

I have also tried the latest official LMS but that did not help either.

All the other apps work fine.

    Is there any quick fix?

Go to Settings/Advanced/Spotty and remove the account. Then
re-authenticate. If that doesn't help, please send me your
    server.log.zip (Settings/Information).

    Hi,

I have removed and entered the account, but that did not seem to help. I am sending you the log file by e-mail. Thanks

Hmm... there's still something wrong with your credentials: the log file
    is full with these messages:

    [20-07-30 15:11:00.4971] Plugins::Spotty::AccountHelper::getCredentials
    (281) Failed to read credentials file, or credentials file was empty

Could you please send me the credentials.json file you'd find in the
spotty sub-folder to the cache folder (see Settings/Information)?

    Dear Michael,

Thank you for leading me to the solution. I deleted the sub-folders under spotty cache and entered the users for Spotify. Now it works 😃

Thank you for your help 👍
