How to change Alarm volume ?

    Hi !

My preset alarm volume is to high. When the alarm goes off, the preset radio station plays much to loud.

How can I reduce the volume so that of the alarm goes off the preset radio station won‘t play so loud anymore ?

    I just can‘t find the settings !

Not sure what you mean by preset radio station but alarm volume is set in the alarm settings.

Sorry, if I couldn‘ make myself understood better, I‘ll try again:

I don‘t use a „Beep“ or another „normal“ sound, but my favorite radio station as alarm sound.

I remember to have set the volume once while setting up the alarm the first time, but I cannot find any possibility to change the (volume) setting now, i. e. ex post !

    Hope it‘s better understandable now ... ?

Is your Radio connected to LMS or mysqueezebox.com?

LMS - Settings > Player tab > Alarm clock (drop down).

MySB.com > Players tab > select your Radio > Alarms.

That is what I thought and my answer still stands. Look in alarm settings. It can also be set on the Radio itself.

Oh my, shame on me : I didn‘t scroll down that far ! What a beginners mistake !

Thanks, I found it now and just reduced the volume. I‘ll see, no, hear the result tomorrow morning!

@30kidstypike : I found the possibility in mysqueezebox.com/Alarm/volume and set it to „1“ - without any effect !

Nevertheless thank you very much, too !

I'm quite frustrated : Even with reduced volume settings, the alarm went off as loud as before !

I'll delete all alarms tonight, set them up from scratch and see what happens ... !
