piCorePlayer/Jivelite - increased onscreen button highlight contrast

Is it possible to increase the on-screen button highlight contrast?

I find on my 7in screen I can barely distinguish the highlit buttons from the unhighlit ones.

Is there a web-interface setting (that I haven't found yet) or a CLI command or config.txt setting I can use to improve the visibility of the highlit buttons?

It is difficult to see which button is highlit and navigate around the screen, at present.

Thanks in advance of any help or suggestions!

I am unaware of any settings.

Weird, if there was a general problem with the official Raspberry Pi screen we would have heard about it by now.

    What screen is it?

    Is the screen upside down?

    Are you wearing polarised glasses?

    Thanks for the reply, Greg.
No, this is (unfortunately) NOT the official Pi screen. It's the screen causing calibration problems in pCP/Jivelite in this thread:
    https://forums.slimdevices.com/showt...e-Touchscreens
    - which I think has been established in NOT a Waveshare screen, but a "Jun_Electronic" from here:
    https://www.amazon.co.uk//dp/B07YJDSCKR
It's not displaying upside down, nor showing polarisation/angle of view issues in other respects.
It works perfectly out of the box (including touch calibration) with Raspbian (and Windows) - a shame I'm having trouble with pCP/Jivelite.

Just to add to this, if anyone has similar issues: my screen looks like this with the "Screen" button highlit:

    Name: highlight_screen_button.JPG
Views: 40
Size: 108.8 KB

Depending on the ambient light, etc, it's a pretty subtle highlight, and sometimes very difficult to see.

    Maybe an option to, say:
    - surround with a white keyline, or
    - completely invert the colours of highlit items
would be good alternatives? Especially for the visually impaired?
