    Tidal - possible bug??

I have an old set up using a Synology 216 Disk station to run LMS and store my music collection, 3 Logitech Receivers, iPeng mainly used as controller. I use Tidal - premium member - so I upgraded LMS to v8.0.0 - 1598791476 a few days ago when the login change happened. In the main this has worked fine and I can play music from Tidal. However when I select a single tune from Tidal, browse or search, and add it to the current play list, it will not play. (It is silent with the odd squelch as described by others). However, if I add the whole album and then, on the play list choose to play the tune which previously would not play, it plays fine. This behaviour is consistent and repeatable. Feels like it might be a bug, as well as being annoying...

Anyone seen this and have a solution?

Thank you very much! That was very helpful. There indeed was one more
case where I hadn't correctly implemented the transition from mp3 to aac.

Please give it another try. Thanks!

When browsing to TIDAL/Artists, or when importing to your library?

Yes, these lists are limited to roughly 500 items. This already requires
sending 10 requests to TIDAL, as we can only get 50 per request. I'd
therefore recommend you using LMS8's online library integration to get
    access to your library.

OK, thanks for letting me know.

I don't use LMS8, but doesn't that also have to make the same calls to get the result set?

It would. But as they're done during a scan, which is not interactive,
thus not as time critical, it's a.) fine, and b.) only required whenever
    you run a scan.

I received an email from TIDAL customer service two days ago saying they were working on it. I returned post mandatory evacuation (Cameron Peak Fire) and to our delight, the TIDAL problem had been FIXED.
