    piCorePlayer no HDMI audio

    Hi,
I have a piCorePlayer and the HDMI often stops working. Sometimes changing the output to Analogue then back to HDMI fixes it, but not this time...
    Any ideas please?

Have you tried a different "Output Setting", expand the word 'more'

You're not using a Dell Ultrasharp 2408 WFP 24" screen for HDMI-audio are you?

I am, and I only recently discovered they have problems with HDMI-audio - sometimes the signal disappears spontaneously when switching audio paths - necessitating a power off/on reset on the screen.

Nothing to do with PCP of course.

    Thank you for the responses.

I finally found the problem, it's the case I'm using for the Raspberry Pi. Evidently, the case interferes with the HDMI connectors so that the cable does not mate correctly and consequently the receiver does not get an HDMI signal. Take the case off, and it works fine...

The case I'm using is made by NeeGo. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081VT2CPW
