The variable %z will return the current period forecast hi/lo in the form "High: 72º". Is there a variable that will return only the numerical value, i.e. "72º"? Thanks.
EDIT: Found it, but can't get the degree symbol (º) to appear. Custom Clock won't accept it. Suggestions welcome.

Glad you found it on your own. The SDT player settings page in the LMS web interface is where the macro variables are documented. I added the %!z and %!Z variables about a year ago at another user's request. The degree symbol was intentionally left out.
You can add the degree symbol in a Custom Clock design, but the import function of CCH doesn't like it. To work around this, remove the degree symbol before importing your design. Then edit the item using the CCH interface and add the degree symbol to the sdtformat field. Let me know if this solves your problem.

I'm new here and I want to introduce myself. I am from Germany and 60 years old. My English is not so good, so I often take the translator.
I use LMS on a Synology DS718+ and have an "SB-Radio", a "SB-touch" and a "SB-Controller". The devices are relatively cheap at ebay-Kleinanzeigen in germany.
In the 1st post it is not allowed to use links.
I hope it goes on right away... in the 2nd post.

For my devices I wanted to have a weather forecast. There are many posts, but they are all old and not functional or too complicated.
I did this (summary from various contributions):
1. Enabled in the "old" LogitechMediaServer-x86_64-7.9.2-168.0029 SDT and Custom Clock Helper.
Code:http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/sdt-weather-com/repo.xml
2. Now update to version 8 (The Custom Clock Helper now also works with version 8 ! )
With the Custom Clock Helper I imported a new style, from here:
https://forums.slimdevices.com/showt...troller/page60
Code:File Type: txt SDT Big Weather 4days Alarm Centigrade cb - radio.txt
hhttps://weather.codes/germany/
The result for the "SB-Radio" looks like this:
]
I am satisfied with that. Now you have to upgrade the touch and the controller.

Welcome.
You also downloaded the style you wanted successfully, that is good. Have fun here.3xPi3B-7"+pCP 6.0 | LMS 8.0.1 | Transporter | 2xTouch | 2xClassic | 2xBoom | 2xRadio | iPeng

I still have a small problem:
The weather report should only be displayed when the radio is off, as above in the last post
Now, however, the following image is always displayed for about 10 sec. This also comes after switching to another station.
In Settings/Display/Screen Saver I set everything correctly. (I hope)
Where can I turn this off?
Greetings

I solved the problem by using a factory reset.
Playing around too much has probably misplaced a few wrong settings.
The radio now runs like the first day and my screensaver appears as I set it.Player-Modell: Squeezebox Radio Firmware: 7.7.3-r16676

I created a screen server with the Costum Clock Helper. It works perfectly
I would like to export this to make available to other users. The .txt file is created.
However, the .txt file is not in the correct format.
I can't import this file again.Player-Modell: Squeezebox Radio Firmware: 7.7.3-r16676

Can someone provide an idiots guide on how to use that?
I have SDT installed as well as CCH.
How do I enable seing a Weather radar map?
(I would like to see it full screen with current time on top on a Joggler screen (800x600) as a screen saver when the player is halted.)
Do I need to import a new style / txt file, or....?
(If so: Would someone have an example with radar map enabled?)LMS 8 on Open Peak Joggler (running Chills Jivelite on Joggler)
Player: 5 x Squeezebox Classic, Slimp3, SqueezeAmp
2nd System: PiCorePlayer (and LMS) on Pi Zero;
