Time Out Waiting for Data - for only 1 station that is otherwise available on the net

Our Squeezebox was working fine pulling in our favorite station, KCSN 88.5 here in SoCal, but today it keeps saying "Timed Out Waiting For Data". Other stations are available, just not this one. What gives? Help?

Sometimes if the station URL is a https one and your LMS or OS is not up to date - you can get timeout but there are other reason so more info.
What URL are you using ?
    What type of player ?
    What version of LMS ?
What OS is LMS running on ?

Hi, here's the info you requested:

    https://www.885fm.org/live/
    squeezebox v3 (classic?)
    7.9.2
    Windows 10
Maybe this is important: the Classic is not wireless connected; its ethernet connected to our network and the LMS doesn't show us as having a player and we don't know how to fix that either.
But LMS does show that station as a favorite and we always connected to it without hiccup for some time nowl.

I have reproduced the error. It is odd as it looks just like a normal request. Needs a bit more digging.

Were you checking the LMS WebGUI Settings/Information page for attached players ?
Could this player be connected to mysqueezebox.com ?

Is your player connected to LMS or mysqueezebox.com?

Very strange the station is objecting to the contents of User Agent sttrign used by LMS when making the request.

    The User-Agent string is
    Code:
iTunes/4.7.1 (Linux; N; Debian; x86_64-linux; EN; utf8) SqueezeCenter, Squeezebox Server, Logitech Media Server/7.9.2/TRUNK
As long as there is a "iTunes" in the string it will not work. If I change "iTunes" to "xTunes" it plays (in file Slim/Misc/Utils.pm but not possible on Windows)

Seems to be some sort of strange objection to iTunes or perhaps with a iTunes user agent it expects something special.

To OP - there is no easy solution except email the station.
