I finally installed LMS 8.0 nightly and I use Spotty 4.3.0.
So far so good, things are getting better every day. Thanks for that, Michael!

I love the Online Music Library Integration, it's great to have everything in one place.
But I also see the Spotify albums and playlists of my children.
Is there a way to separate accounts in this respect? I'd be glad to hear.

Are you using a family account?

Yeah, that's not really working yet... see

    https://github.com/michaelherger/Spo...mporter.pm#L94

    :-)

But as my kids are using Spotify more and more I'll likely have to fix
    this soon.

How would you like the implementation to be done? As you can see from
that comment I tried to create virtual libraries per user. As an
alternative (in particular for my foreseen use case) I could imagine
another pref which would define which collections I'd like to import. My
kids most likely will not care about my (local) music collection. They
will only "live" in the Spotty menu anyway. Therefore I could probably
configure it to only import my collection, but not the kids'.

OK, I see. I won't have to look for it then.

Importing one collection only (mine) would be perfect, at least in my case.
Kids don't mess with these boomer local collections anyway

It seems natural that the default would be that the library contains only the online library of the users whose Spotify account is selected and not those of the other family members.

I am getting to see a lot of baby music that my wife's saved into her playlists for entertaining the kids which ... I'd rather not.

no integration on Picoreplayer + LMS 8?

I tried searching for an answer but without success! I have LMS 8.0 on a piCorePlayer (6.1). Spotty is available and I can play stuff from Spotify. The Music library integration plugin is installed too. But there's no Spotify link when I browse artists, after a reboot or two as well.

PS Thank you everyone who works on any of this software!

No link, or no icon? Please double-check the settings for the Online
    Library Integration plugin.

It works fine if I switch to the default skin, but when I go back to the material skin Spotify is missing under each artist. So it's working for me now by that route. I disabled and re enabled material skin to no avail.

Try clicking the circle with three dots inside in Material Skin. Spotify should be in that list.
