Just double check the settings. You might have changed it long ago, but
it only came into effect with the latest Spotty update.

Spotify playlist vs playlist radio
LMS 8.2.0 on Ubuntu 20.04
Spotty 4.6.1
This is likely a novice Spotify question, so apologies in advance - I will admit to not being sure what I am talking about. I did try to search the forums but didn't find anything on this....
Spotify has some pre-built playlists I listen to and they show up just fine in LMS. These playlists are static (i.e. same 60 songs every time) but the playlist has a "playlist radio" option in the dedicated (Windows) Spotify app, which seems to have an endless playlist with more variety. I can kick this off in the dedicated Spotify App and push it to my squeezebox but I don't see a way to get to this "playlist radio" stream via Spotty/LMS GUI - is it possible?
Thanks,
TomS

I must admit I wasn't aware of that feature. I'll have to check whether
their API offers anything to cover this.
Otherwise I would suggest you use "Don't Stop The Music" with one of the
Spotify mixers, which would take the current playlist's content and try
to continue playing matching music.

Acne: aka Spotty trouble
Migrating from an AMD64 Debian Buster to an Armv71 Debian Bullseye platform, I'm struggling to get Spotty to work again.
I have searched for and followed all the advice that I think is available, including reauthenticating, creating developer account and entering client ID, waiting an hour, checking "Disable asynchronous token refresh call.", etc. Any & all further help appreciated.
I am wondering whether it may be a UK vs US country issue given users who have reported DE & CN trouble?

After all these tests, where are you now? What settings are you using?
Can you provide more log information with the current state?

I'm using my authenticated username & password backed up by a developer account with my username listed after more than an hour has passed & Spotify developer portal starts reporting one active user. I have unchecked "Disable asynchronous token refresh call as this tends to hang the web interface when the failure still happens as it does.
Can you provide more log information with the current state?

As the queries from your log work fine here, using my own token, I
believe there must be something about your account. You do have a
Premium subscription, don't you?
I see that you're signing in using your email address and password.
Would automatic authentication using the Spotify app not work? Or if you
tried your username instead of your email address?

This is weird. I can play Spotify tracks integrated into my library but when I click on Spotty I get "Failed to get access token". Squeezebox Connect devices also appear in the Spotify app and appear to be playing in athe app but no sound and nothing in the player now playing display.

Thank you.
My account is indeed Premium, albeit a family one. I have authenticated using my username & my email address along with my password (which I have changed between attempts). I have also updated the app to authenticate.
What did you think of the country potential problem (US vs. GB)? And might it help to capital the cache, Inn which case how should i do that?
