There's not much in terms of cache to clean out. When you sign out of
Spotify (in Spotty), then there should be no more credentials.json
anywhere below LMS' cache/spotty folder.

That looks very much like andybjackson's issue. I guess you both have
your own client ID, thus access to Spotify's developer tools? Could you
please head over to
https://developer.spotify.com/consol...it=50&offset=0,
hit the "Get Token" button, then "Try It". Would that work?

right hand side of the Spotify API explorer (the link I gave you
before), and run it in a terminal on that Pi?

Failed to get access token
Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem but recently I changed language to English(British) in LMS settings and then got 'Failed to get access token' when using Spotty.
Switching back to 'English' fixed the issue
