The LMS server.log might have some clues.
My first guess would have been file/folder permissions. Perhaps your new Perl installation or the running LMS does not have the required rights to open the files.

    Hello,

Being new to this thread and working hard to catch up, I probably missed something in the recommended steps

Done: In Package Center: go to ->settings -> General -> set trust level to 'any publisher'.
Problem : In Package Center go to -> settings -> Package Sources -> Add -> name: Logitech Media Server -> Location: https://pinkdot.myds.me/sspks/ Returns a location error !?

    Catching Up

    Hi,

I am running Pink Dot's 7.9.2 LMS on two Synology servers (DS1019+ and DS220+) and would like to upgrade to 8.X version, but this forum's link to SourcForge does not lead me to packages download. Can someone point me to a place where i can download these packages. Also, I am still running DSM6 and i see in the posts that there is a way to run current LMS packages under DSM7. Can you please point me to the post that describes how to do this.

    Regards,
    VSMI

    Almost impossible to find

    Hey Guys,
the packages can not be found on the commen places anymore and all advice is outdated. But here you can still find and download the packages:
    https://www.abacus-electronics.de/fo...php?f=31&t=317
I have searched for them almost 30 minutes.
