My Synolgy Language is German, so you might need to read between the lines.

On Synology NAS NFS of shared folder:
In NFS whole domain *
Squash assign all users as admins

I was struggling with the permission since 10 days and probably used all 4-letter words possible (i.e. 26^4 = 456976).
Adapting the NFS permissions at the Synology NAS did the trick.
This is my real christmas.

Thanks man. Helped here as well. Went into file station and changed permissions for all to read/write including sub-dirs. Now the folders show up in the Apnar image.

Yes, I installed it manually over 8.0.1. But my old version was also a manually installed LmsUpdate version.

If you are coming from LmsRepack I'm not sure about details (Somebody else can probably better answer this).

Manual update over that version worked fine for me, no settings were lost.
