LmsUpdate and LmsRepack - Synology 8.0.*packages

Go to DSM's Docker manager, shut down the container (if it's running at
all). Edit the container. On the Ports page make sure Local Port and
    Container Port are the same.

Ah OK, still Port Settings inside the Docker application. All local ports were set to 'Auto' so I changed them to explicitly be the same as the Container Ports. When pushing the 'Apply' button I get this message: Local port 3483,3483,9000,9090 conflicts with other ports used by other services.

At least now I understand what is the problem.

Most likely it's port 9000. There must be a reason why Synology always
    used 9002 instead.

Synology offers dozens of optional services and apps. I doubt you've
    installed them all.

It's reserved for an old version of Surveillance Station by the UI (even though their current version uses other ports).

    Hi guys!

I just bought a DS220J for my friend and I'm very frustrated LMS is not supported anymore.
I own two NAS devices and I have LMS installed on both.

I tried pinkdot's method but the URL does not exist anymore.
Is there anything I can do to get this working? I read Docker isn't available on all processors.
My DSM version is 6.2.3-25426 Update 3.

I tied some alternatives but no luck (Minimserver, Plex ...). My Squeezebox can't connect to any of those.
I would really appreciate any tip!

Thank you all and stay healthy!

    Hi rr_7351

The DS220+ is equipped with a Celeron J4205 processor. To the best of my knowledge you can run LMS in a Docker container on this one. If possible, I recommend to return the DS220J and replace with a DS220+. The DS220j has a Realtek RTD1296 CPU, so AFAIK running LMS in Docker not supported.

    Hi,
thank you for your reply. You are right, it's a Realtek CPU.
Besides docker there aren't any other options?
I was thinking of putting virtual windows on DSM and then try to install LMS (windows version).
Based on my research Squeezebox can't connect to any other music source ...

Get a Raspberry Pi to run LMS and use the NAS to store the music files.

The "J" models usually are the entry level models. Your NAS only has
512MB RAM, and certainly no virtualization. A Raspberry Pi 4 as four
    times this memory.
