I have pCP on a 3B+ and am attaching a remote IR receiver to +3.3v, gnd and various GPIOs, 17, 27, 18. and saving in IR page.
If I try sudo ir-keytable -p all -c , I get - no devices found. If I try sudo ir-keytable -t , I get the same - no devices found. The IR receiver is new, tried two and they are connected correctly.
Has anyone any Idea what is going on.

+1 .....reverted back to 6.1 and Cirrus Logic Audio card works again. Running on Pi 2B

I have reverted back to pCP 6.1.0

But this morning have made a Raspbbery PI OS Lite image

Linux raspberrypi 5.4.83+ #1379 Mon Dec 14 13:06:05 GMT 2020 armv6l GNU/Linux

with

squeezelite-1.9.8.1323-armhf.tar.gz/

and it works

It will, but will take quite a bit of time to boot. But always on it should do what you need. Would be best if you connect up a USB ethernet connection. WiFi might limit you on the number of connected devices.,

As long as RPI keeps support in their kernel, we will support what they do. It's going to be interesting what happens down the road with 32bit processors in the kernel.

The biggest issue with these cards is that you have to open the input and output side of the card at the same sample depth. If the output side of the card opens at 32bit, then the input has to be opened at 32bit too. It's best to force squeezelite to the same depth as you plan on recording.
