    Problems after upgrading

    Hi - I just upgraded to 6.0 via the UI and everything seemed to go fine.
    But this morning the touch screen was frozen and the system was off the network.

    I restarted it but now LMS appears to be hung on rebuilding the full text index and the scanner log is blank. The server log just has this:
    [20-03-29 11:41:41.7466] main::init (387) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.2, 1575296326, Mon Dec 2 15:50:12 CET 2019) perl 5.028000 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int

    I had a look at the Diagnostics page and was looking for a console and/or upgrade log. The nearest I could find was dmesg but it doesn't have timestamps so don't know how relevant it is. I couldn't see anything obviously wrong (https://pastebin.com/7ZRWagU9)

    How do I diagnose why it hung?

    It can happen, might be best to do a complete rescan. Iĺve heard of cases where you have to manually delete the old database.

Thanks for all the hard work that's gone into this, it's super slick!

    I have a couple of questions, I've set a clock as the screensaver when off, or not playing (settings -> screen -> screensaver), but they never seem to trigger, even having set the timer to 10 seconds - have I missed something I need to do to enable then?

    Also, I prefer the 800x480 grid skin over the joggler skin, but by default can't find a way to navigate it using the remote, I need an input that's the equivalent of a screen tap, do I need an IR input that is mapped to key_ENTER to achieve this?

    Thanks, Andy.
    Yes, KEY_ENTER or KEY_OK is equivalent to tapping an icon in the grid skin.

    Alexa also can connect to a WiFi speaker.
    No idea what that is, but could pCP act as one ?

    Basic idea here is to have Alexa output through same stereo as pCP.
    (No, my amp cannot autoselect input)

    Hello together, especially Paul;

    THANKS for your work, from my side too:

    After a Update of the bluetooth (via "Bluetooth" page - Update button) to "build 0005"
    the "reconnect" problem of my Marshall Stockton II Speaker is solved!

    Perhaps the feedback is welcome to any other user.

    Code:
    pCP Bluetooth extension build:0005
    Starting BT Controller
    bcm43xx_init
    Flash firmware /lib/firmware/brcm/BCM4345C0.hcd
    Set Controller UART speed to 3000000 bit/s
    Device setup complete

    Thanks, I did a complete rescan and it seems to be working fine currently - will see how it fares tomrrow. I'd not heard of LMS causing a complete lockup before though!
