    Convolvers

So I have been trying to install BruteFirDRC on my LMS install folliowing ArchImago's guide from 2016. No luck. Crashes LMS or won't let it start up on a reboot!

So either I'd like to figure out what is going on there, see about using Jconvolver or another option?

I have the plugin enabled on my system, I use it mainly to enable loudness on one of my players, although I haven’t try with the actual convolver.

I remember having issues with permissions on the plugin folder when I installed it

    Try
    Code:
    sudo chown -R squeezeboxserver:nogroup /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/Plugins/BrutefirDrc

What do you want to use BruteFirDRC for?

A *possible* alternative is Inguz but it depends on what you are looking for.

Inguz can be installed on Windows or Ubuntu (Debian) - though I am not pushing Inguz.

My bad. It’s intel only, not windows only.

According to the Inguz website on github and time machine, it could be working on 64bit system, any platform.

I’d like to guide you on another solution, it’s being actively developed but should work.

    It’s CamillaDSP

    https://github.com/HEnquist/camilladsp
It supports both IIR and FIR filters.

I haven’t tried it yet but there is a thread on diyaudio discussing the development.
