    LMS 8.0 repository problem

    Hi,

Running LMS 8.0 on my Windows 10 system, I see the following error on the plugin page: "Bad repository https://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml - Connect timed out: Bad file descriptor". Is this a known issue?

    Best regards,
    Dennis.

Go to Settings/Advanced/Security and enable "Insecure HTTPS". This will
fall back to ignoring certificates instead of verifying them. That's old
(<= 7.9) behaviour which now is disabled by default.

OK, thanks. But "https://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml" doesn't generate an error in Google Chrome. What am I missing? :-)

    Best regards,
    Dennis.

It might be the rather old Perl version we're shipping with LMS on
Windows. Perl and Chrome (and whatever other browser) don't share those
    SSL libraries.
