Determination for Master of a Sync Group

    Hi

Whats the criteria for being the Master of a Sync group. Is it based on performance of the device, or lowest network latency or some other criteria?

    Thanks

    Is there one?
    LMS is the real master.
Perhaps top of the list has some significance.

I think any player can be a a master - it's not performance related. Whatever gets played on the master also plays on the slaves, that's why there's a distinction. If you want to change the playlist for the entire sync group, you change the master's.

It's the order of the array of players in the group. First which is "on" is the master. This is re-evaluated when players join/leave
