I think that may have been for my now deleted post. I figured it out. I was trying to create a second file rather than just adding the executable line to the existing file. When that didn't work I tried putting it in the tweaks page. When that didn't work I kept thinking about it and rereading it until I got it.

Saying I love Windows is a bit strong though :-)

Thanks for everyone's work on this. Pretty cool. Don't know what I'll do with it, but it is cool.

    Bests,

    Howard

...and the OSMC remote works with it...

and of course I have no idea why, but the OSMC RF remote I've been wanting to use works with this set up. All but the stop button. Not bad.

Function for "Play" playlist, album, artist?

If one would like to play a playlist or album, what action would one need? When I press play on a playlist it just plays the song that was in the queue before. If I press play on the first song in a playlist, that's the only song it will play. I could swap out the power function. I don't really need that.

    Thanks,

    Howard

There are jivelite key mappings in the jivelite thread. You can map any key that jivelite supports.

    Hi Paul,

I've looked at those and even tried a few. I haven't found one that will start an album or playlist.

Use one of the other options from within squeezebuttonpidaemon to send the command then.

You can fire a script from a button if you wish.

Take a look at the options here, for running a script from a button.
