I changed my Amazon password and now the skill doesn't seem to work. What is the best way to get it working again?

Actually I changed the ngrok password as well that is probably more relevant.

Changed credentials always mean re-linking the skills (both!).

If you changed your ngrok credentials then you will need to edit the ngrok config yml file to update accordingly, also the updater.py or .pl script that updates the skill(s) when you reboot. Then you will need to watch carefully what uuid shows up on the landing page when you link and make sure your updater script has the correct one. It's saved in your browser's localStorage and if that was reset you will be assigned a new uuid.

It may actually be easier to use the new automatic installer and updater setup which will also enable and link the skills with a single click.

I have downloaded a script generated by the Easy Setup page. Do I unlink both the skills and then run the script on my Pi?

What happens to all the unwanted original files on the system?

Yes. And when the script completes, click on the grey autolink link in the setup help page to automatically link the skills. Use the same browser.

The only residual file will be your original updater.py or updater.pl script. It can be deleted when you have verified the new setup works.

Do I need to use a browser on the Pi? This has the potential to go badly wrong, I might be better off editing the existing files. Are the original instructions still available?
