I've updated Material (in the 1.3 branch) to disable drag'n'drop editing of remote playlists, and removing tracks. Should I also disable:

1. deleting of the playlist itself
2. renaming the playlist
3. adding playlist to favourites
4. adding playlist to preset

1&2 I think yes. Changes will be reverted on rescan
3&4 not sure. Arguments either way

I’ve found cause of my No Album entry. It is a track on Spotify library with No Artist/No Album
It doesn’t appear in Artists under No Artist
It does appear in Albums as No Album
If I search the track it is available to play
Edge case I suspect so not worth trying to fix

Are you saying that track has the literal "No Artist" and "No Album" in
its metadata?

It has no album tag, no album artist tag, but does have a track artist and title tag. I am surprised Spotify let it into their database but they did.
I really don't think it is going to be a common thing but in relation to Zdot I suggested you ignore track artist and use album artist.
In this case that approach made it invisible in the database except in the tracks table and as no album in the albums table.
Trust me it is a weird track by an amateur.

New Music import appears to be working correctly.

Suggestion - put the pre-caching of Spotify artwork ahead of pre-caching local artwork. It will reduce the incidence of this happening.

All those without a cover are Spotify. It gets resolved on completion of the scan but .....

Unfortunately I have just had to crash the server and rebuild it so no scanner logs available.
It is just rescanning now.
