Obviously confusing. Unfortunately importing playlists from Spotify
isn't straight forward. I have to do two passes of queries to get all
the data needed. The display could probably improved. But that's low
priority at this point.

I still get a total rescan even when adding just one item. Any thoughts?

"database is locked". Something had a lock on the file, and did not free
it. You didn't use any external tool to access the file while the scan
was running, did you?
