    Deezer

I'm running 8.1.2 - 1613284909 and while the Deezer integration seems to be generally active, the lookup seems to be flaky and inconsistent:

Main menu > All Artists > Die Drei ??? Kids yields 61 hits, of which 57 are local and 4 are on Deezer.
Main menu > Deezer > Search Music > Search for Artists (Die drei ??? Kids) > Albums yields 56 hits
Logging into Deezer with my browser and searching for "drei ??? kids" yields 93 albums

I did a rescan of the online music which took a while, but the results did not change. I tried mostly with the material skin, but a quick check with the standard skin leads to the same results.

I did not see anything striking in the logs, but there are not many messages and so perhaps the log level is wrong (can I increase it?)

Only albums you flagged as favorites will be imported, not all albums by
    a favorite artist.

Ah I see. Yes I guess that explains the behavior. With a Deezer family account all accounts registered at mysb.com are considered, right?

Out of curiosity, why not include all albums of a favourite artist? Is this planned for implementation, perhaps as an option? For a use case like mine (audiobooks for kids) it would definitely make sense, and personally I think I'd also quite like that.re

And another issue which was kind of buried in my post: when I search this artist's albums, the Deezer > Search Music > Artist .... lists only 56 albums. But right on deezer.com there are 93! When I search Deezer > Search Music > Title for any of the missing albums, it is correctly shown. Do you have any idea why that is happening?

Yes, all accounts should be imported.

There are a bunch of reasons. Eg. I don't like all hundreds of albums
Frank Zappa ever recorded. Or there often are duplicates in the form of
Remaster and Deluxe versions. What about EPs? Singles?

It's something I've considered. But in the year that this feature has
been out the request hasn't come up often. I believe for most users it
would be overwhelming. But I do understand your use case. There are
hundreds of albums for those "artists", and new ones added almost
weekly... But browsing an artist online isn't that much farther away.

My kids actually hardly ever go to My Music, but use online services
almost exclusively. They'd even play music I have locally from a
service, because that's what they're familiar with.

Yeah, I suppose that would be awkward.

So what exactly are they doing then? Basically I was looking for the easieast route
for them to reach all albums of a particular (audiobook) artist, with only the knobs of
the SB Radio at their disposal.

That is the only reason why I hoped that perhaps the OMSI might be worth looking into.
If there is a better way, we'll gladly take it. :-)

Hi, Michael. I recently migrated from Tidal to Qobuz and am enjoying all the hi-res (non-MQA!) flac content and the LMS integration. One thing I noticed, however, is that Qobuz hi-res albums that are favorited and thus integrated into My Music via the OMLI plugin do not display the "(Hi-Res)" label. Is there a way to do this? I have the option selected in the Qobuz plugin to display the label "where applicable". Would it be possible for that selection to be shared with OMLI? Thanks, and I very much appreciate your tireless work on this plugin and on all of LMS.

Regarding my previous post, I understand that it may not be possible to display the "(Hi-Res)" label in the album title without adding it to the database key, which would affect the indexing of the library. As an alternative, how about adding a "Hi-Res" logo to the artwork in the upper left corner? Just an idea ..

I've been toying with the idea of image compositing (eg. for playlists)
before. But it's a relatively "heavy" process, and I'd have to introduce
quite a bunch of new software dependencies.

It just occurred to me that a Hi-Res artwork logo would actually be useful for local content as well. Maybe any track with a bit depth greater than 16? Something more for your ever-expanding to-do list.

I am using the Advanced Genre Replacement feature and try to get my head around the order albums are displayed in the list. It seems completely random to me. I just added a new album from Spotify and had to look through the whole list to find it
