Right now I have players with pcp5 and pcp6b7

The three that have intermittent issues connecting at boot time are all on pcp5. If they connect they seem to remain connected without any problems.

Would there be a difference if I installed them on pcp6b7?

I assume a boot time config could solve this.

I'm a bit confused then, there is no 3 strike and your out with pCP5 or 6.

    The process is

    Load wifi firmware and software
    Start wpa_supplicant and udhcpc
Wait for network (Wifi or Ethernet)......the default timeout is 50 seconds and is changeable on the wifi page.

I get something to the sense of

    udhcpc:sending discover
    udhcpc:sending discover
    udhcpc:sending discover
And if it isn't connected it says something about reverting to Ethernet (which is tried after, but won't work as I do not have a wired connection on those)

The discovery phase last about 15-20 seconds. Maybe adjusting timeout would work, I'll look into this

I need to mention it does connect 8 or 9 times out of 10. It's the odd non-connecting occurrence that bothers me.

Iĺve seen many DHCP servers decide to take forever sometimes.
