Yes. See my other postings in this thread.
I see you recommended running a RPi 4 with 4GB for LMS.... Correct?

I am traveling currently and my travel system is running LMS and Squeeze-lite on a RPi 3 B+ with 1GB and the response is almost instantaneous. -- Why would you recommend a Rpi 4 over an Rpi 3 B+

I've had good experiences with LMS on RPi2 and RPi3 as well, so if you
*have* such you are good to go.

If, however, you need to *buy* an RPi, I would definitely go for RPi4. The
added value outweights the slightly higher price. Also, in my setup the RPi
runs quite a bit more than just LMS.

It's not the price at all.... It's mostly because there has been a heat issue with the RPi 4 and availability of cases etc. -- And the software I use (PiCorePlayer) is still in Beta for RPi 4 Support.

The reason I bought a Pi4 was because I install MusicIP as well and the extra RAM makes a big difference. The latest Raspbian kernel combined with the FLIRC case does a good job controlling the temperature.

Are you talking about the Plugin 'MusicIP' --- If, so does it take a lot of memory?

No the MusicIP server uses quite a lot of RAM. It can be installed on Raspbian.
