Oh! I'll sign up soon and report back. I paid for their app way back, but haven't had any use for the new subscription tier since their app went free.

Subscribed to Plus. Still no go. Weird. Maybe something needs to refresh on their end. If it doesn't work tomorrow, I'll email them.

Working now! Not sure that Plus is required, but by having web player access I was able to grab my auth token from Firefox's developer view, plonk it into sprocket.prefs "authToken: " line, restart my server, and it works.

Not sure what was up with the login input. Other options/toggles on the plugin settings save my selections fine. I use a bunch of similar plugins. Though this is my first time manually installing a plugin.

    Thanks again, AxxelH!

Just wanted to say "thank you" to AxxelH for this plugin!

Use PocketCasts all the time on my phone, great to have available on the Squeezebox and have one place to organise everything.

I'm not a premium member but purchased PocketCasts many years ago, before it went free to use.
The plugin worked immediately once logged in from settings page on LMS 7.9.2.
'Up next' takes a bit of time but gets there! Everything else is reasonably snappy.

    Again, good work!

Has anyone installed this on a Windows machine? And if so, how do one do it? And is it confirmed that it works without having a premium subscription?

Now I will ply around with the Plugin.
My main reason for looking for another Podcast solution than the std LMS one is the timeout you get with some Podcasts.
i.e they play for some minutes than stop.
Potentially - as I understand - because the server closes down when not downloading the entire podcast in one piece, but slowly by chunks while listening.

    How is that done here?
    Is the Podcast downloaded?
    If so: Where? (temporarily?)
I tried that location & sprocket fails to install .... confused.

So in /usr/local/slimserver/Cache/Plugins you just copy the unzipped Sprocket folder ?

    Preannounce: Sprocket - Pocket Castsplugin

    > So in /usr/local/slimserver/Cache/Plugins

If you meant InstalledPlugins then I can only ask you not to mess with
it, unless you want to be in trouble.

No it's not in InstalledPlugins - I tried the same dir as slimhase - didn't work for me.

Hmm. Thats what I did and it worked:
Note that the required folder was not present - I had to create it:
    /usr/local/slimserver/Cache/Plugins
Then I copied the unzipped Sprocket folder and its contens & subdirs in there.
Then I press backup on the pCP Webinterface (not sure, if that is needed)
Restarted LMS and Plugin was available
    Hope that helps.
