How to connect Duet receiver without controller tomysqueezebox.com?

I have an old duet receiver where the controller died quite a while
back, but the duet receiver kept working until the power supply died in
    2017.

Now I've gotten a power supply from someone else's old duet receiver and
I plugged the power into the receiver, and the LED on the front lit up
and cycled through a lot of colours until finally settling on blue,

This meant that it was connected to the home wi-fi and was trying to
find a squeeze server of some sort.

The player is listed on mysqueezebox.com from earlier, but didn't show
    up as connected.

I booted the PC that used to run LMS and started LMS and the player
    appeared there.

But the LMS settings had no setting for connecting the player to
    mysqueezebox.com.

I looked at Net::UDAP which I've used earlier to reconnect the duet
receiver to the wi-fi after changing the access point.

But Net::UDAP seems to be concerned with getting a duet on to the
network, and the duet is on the network.

Is there a REST API on the duet itself that I could use to make it use
    mysqueezebox.com?

    Thanks!

If your receiver is connected to LMS, select it in the Player dropdown box, expand "Extras" in the home page menu, then "Music Source".

The LMS itself is the only music source that shows up under "Music
    Source".

Is the LMS too old ("Logitech Media Server Versjon: 7.7.5 - 1416570306 @ Thu Nov 27 07:38:09 CUT 2014")?

Or is there an LMS setting I'm lacking?

Looks like that version is either too new or too old, it's a bug:

I upgraded to the version that was knocking on the door:
    Logitech Media Server Versjon: 7.7.6 - 1521467459 @ Thu Mar 29 16:46:01 WEDT 2018

But I still got only the LMS itself as "Music source".

I was logged in to https://mysqueezebox.com

In LMS I opened "My services" and clicked on "Service list" and was
redirected to https://www.mysqueezebox.com/ where I wasn't logged in.

Could it be an issue with https://mysqueezebox.com vs
    https://www.mysqueezebox.com?

I logged into https://www.mysqueezebox.com/ and then reopened "My
services" again and this time it redirected to a logged in
    https://www.mysqueezebox.com/

But "Music sources" still only listed the LMS itself.

I opened the LMS settings, selected the mysqueezebox tab, and tried
setting the password, only to be told that "Invalid username or password
    for mysqueezeboks.com".

Inserting the old password works without error messages from LMS, but
the old password can no longer be used on mysqueezeboks.com itself.

What's complaining in LMS when I put in the new password?

Why does it work (or at least: not fail) with the old password?

    Thanks!
