That's certainly one way to do it, but should not be necessary. I'm glad
you got Spotty working. Have fun!

This usually points to some networking issue.

But from your screenshot it looks as if you could authenticate using the Spotify app? What happens if you select that player?

I often don't believe in the "there's nothing" claims :-). Did you check
your server.log? Enable INFO logging for plugin.spotty before trying the
    auth?

What's also interesting is the fact that you already have a pCP device
in Spotify. Where's that coming from?

Spotty playing only one track at a time

    Hi Michael

First time poster here. Spotty user for the last year or so on 3 duets and a squeezeplayer.

Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 on Windows 7

I have noticed that after the last update to 3.0.0 that spotty will play only one track of any playlist (local or otherwise) before pausing at the beginning of the next one. This occurs whichever of the players is used an regardless of whether they are synced together with others.

This is not a problem when playing to other Connect clients (2 yamaha receivers)

Interestingly I normally hear one note of the beginning of the previously played track before it all stops. as if there is a time synch issue.

Is there a cache I need to clear out somewhere?

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks!

    You're right, there's always something going on. . .
On the Spotify application, as I already mentioned, we see this for a few minutes:

then goes back to "Listening on this computer"

Spotify authorization appears or not, I don't know why? I have Picoreplayer and LMS on the same device.

But would that pCP player work? Why would you have the auth daemon at
the same time? You don't need it when Spotty is already configured.

I don't know how to answer these questions. I am very new to Linux. I followed the general installation and configuration instructions
    The Picoreplayer main page shows:
    Squeezelite is running
    LMS is running
    Shairport is running

Surely you can tell if Spotify is able to play to the piCoreplayer. Select it from the device list and see if music plays.
