Unearthed my SB2 over xmas and would love to give it something to do again.
Would it be possible to integrate a SB2 in a multi-channel* setup? As in making rear speakers wireless with the SB2

SB2 does native FLAC via digital and analogue out, so that's fine.
I probably haven't been very clear on what I'm trying to do. In a 4.1 channel setup I'd like to use the SB2 to feed the rear LS wirelessly. This would require outputting from a player to 2 output devices simultanuously. I believe this can be done with Voicemeeter Banana. However SB2 doesn't seem to register as a regular windows output device, but can only be accessed by Logitech Media Server, right?
player>voicemeeter
voicemeeter>output device 1 (front)
+
voicemeeter>output device 2 (SB2) (rear)

SB2 is normally output via LMS but IIRC there are other system which can play to SB2 sch as ROON
That said, I don't believe you'll be able to sync front speaker and rear speaker unless they are both SB type devices and even that I believe is not possible with standard LMS
You should change topic title from multi room to multi channel

Yep, from the Roon knowledgebase: "Roon's Squeezebox functionality works by emulating LMS"
Interesting, in the sense that it's possible in principle. Roon as such is not really an option for me.
I guess I could solve the sync/timing issue in software (REW or similar), but I'd have to look into that.
