Logitech media server not workingwithout internet connection
> When internet returns, the players will play and resume service.
Do you have Spotty installed? I believe there still is an issue with the
spotty helper "locking up" LMS activity on Windows when it fails to
connect to Spotify.

In my camper van I regularly use a pCP server that makes it's own wifi AP, and the device has no possible means of connecting to the internet (something I've considered trying to fix with a GSM dongle, but not really sure how to go about it!). It works fine without internet, but of course I don't have Spotty installed in that setup - no point until I can incorporate a GSM dongle.

No spotty installed .
Just tried it again.. just pulling the internet cable.
I started a local song and unplugged the cable.
The song kept playing.
When i switched off the player and switched it on after a minute the server was lost.
The service on the server was running. I copied the server log from the start of the local song.
Several notifications of lost connections seems normal.
Any thoughts?

Yes Fing is able to block internet traffic and blacklist devices. None of that active of course.
That's not the problem. its purely related to the internet connection with the Logitech media server.
No internet= no active server

Are you sing the IP of the LMS, or some hostname? It might be possible, that the hostname can not be resolved without internet?
Have you tried to sing the LMS server from a computer in the network?

What does the output of ipconfig look like with and without internet connection ? Many Win 10 devices now have "multiple" LAN connections and I wonder if LMS is getting confused.

We need more information about the network set up.
How are all the devices connected - wired / wireless.
At present all we know is that the LMS server is W7 and has (had) an IP of 192.168.1.130 - is this DHCP, Reserved or Static?
Is DHCP on the router or some other machine?
As bpa suggested - post the results of "ipconfig /all" from when connected and when not connected to internet.VB2.4 storage QNAP TS419p (NFS)
