No access to mysqueezebox.com - Passwort reset not working

    Hello,

i recently tried to login into my account which i did not use for some years. So i requested a new password. The message said it was send to my email, but i did not receive it. I tried it several times and waited some hours. Is the passwort reset broken or is my account closed cause of inactivity? I need to unregister Squeezebox V3 cause i sold it to someone else, but he cannot use it cause it is still registered with my account. How can i solve the problem?

    Regards

    Tobi

Did you check your spam folder?

Feel free to PM me your mysb.com user name and I'll see what I can do.

Just to check that you have been to the right place ...
Click on Players (at the top)
Then click on the device on the left (if it is not there then it it mean that someone has already deleted it for the new user or perhaps you registered it with a different account long long ago)
If the device is listed then after clicking on it there should be a "Delete Player" on the right (below Disconnect)

mysqueezebox.com is told the MAC address of the device when it connects.
This is what MySq uses to associate a device with an account.

The new owner can contact Logitech support to ask for it to be reset on MySq but if the request does not happen to reach someone in Logitech support who does not know how to do it then the new owner can PM mherger here to ask for it to be done.
The new owner could refer to this thread as well as evidence assuming that your forum email address (which mherger can see) is the same as the one you used to register on MySq.

I don't understand what exactly you're trying to do... is this your
device you still have in your hands that you want to delete from your
account? Or did you sell your device to somebody and want to delete it?

Feel free to PM me the device's MAC address and I can look into it.
