MySB.com seems much quicker recently - has something changed ?

I've noticed recently that my Boom presets work almost instantaneously (all BBC radio channels).

For quite a few years there was buffering for 10 sec or so after pressing the button.

Not sure if this MySB.com, BBC or network specific (or combination) ?

IIRC The URLs delivered by mysb.com to UK listeners always had to be non UK URLS as the mysb servers were non UK.

What speeds were you getting before ?
What speed are you getting now ?

Recently the BBC changed their ICY URLs for UK listeners ( https://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/internet...e-878ce549108c ).
If you are hetting the UK streams vs thenon UK then you maybe getting a a higher bitrate stream which will would be quicker to start.
