    LMS can't find player

I'm running LMS on a Windows 7 computer.
It consistantly says it can't find a player.
My player is a SBT, connected wirelessly (wireless signal 78%).
I've told it my Library Name, and given it the IP address for the library.

When I choose My Music, it shows Connecting to ip number.
After a bit, it says Problem Connecting.

I don't know what else to do!

Perhaps firewall on the Windows PC preventing inbound connections.

I'm not using any extra firewall; Avast free antivirus is running.

    Uninstall Avast and try again.

I mean completely uninstall (as in completely remove it). You can always put it back.

    Reboot

It has been known to cause problems with LMS in the past, the Windows antivirus is fine.

You are my hero! That's what was stopping the connection.
I had previously tryed just temporarily disableing AVAST, but that didn't help.
    Uninstalling it did!

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions - it's nice to not be alone in working on a problem.

You shouldn't need to tell the Touch the library name or IP address. If your PC and Touch are on the same network the Touch should see the server name.

"shouldn't" and "should" are both good words; never-the-less, "your player was not found".

What happens of you don't tell the Touch the server IP address?

    Reboot router, let fully start.
Restart server machine, and ensure LMS is running.

    Followed those steps.
My Music trys to connect to DavidsLibrary (it knows the name) but fails to connect.
