Can my Squeezebox radio receive Sirius stations? Or do I need a special Sirius radio?

    Sirius

I see that there is a Python implementation of a SiriusXM streamer.
It accesses hls streams and requires the user to provide their SiriusXM id and password.
Maybe it could be reimplemented in Perl.

Someone with a SiriusXM account could try it out even without a new plugin being written ...
Simply download from https://github.com/andrew0/SiriusXM to get a Python application, configure it then access it from LMS (probably via the PlayHLS plugin).

I've done this using a Raspberry Pi. It can work (I needed ffmpeg installed and Python 3) but it's a pain to set up. Far more simple was to use an old Iphone running the SiriusXM app and use Airplay to send to my LMS with the Shairtunes2 Plugin, Album art and all.
