Having just been helped here
https://forums.slimdevices.com/showt...s-quot-on-WNYC
to find a direct stream of the wonderful (and saved from the axe.....) "New Sounds" on WNYC,
I've also found a Podcast list of the assorted full New Sounds episodes:
http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?...5118f27b84d0db
Is it possible to have a Podcast link saved in MySB.com? I'm guessing not - only individual program streams.... The reason for wanting it is that MySB is a very convenient way of having favorites synched across multiple installations of LMS each with different local databases....

One would need to find a rss stream.
I did have a look, but only quickly, without a result.
maybe try a podcast aggregator

Thanks for the quick reply here too!
Of course it's little trouble just to remember to save the podcast link in my local LMS favorites too next time I use that particular server...... But the MySB route does eanable a "do it once" approach, which suits me!
Hadn't thought of the aggregator - but it's probably not quite as easy as just remembering to do a local save.

What I find is that some aggregators show the rss feed link on the relevant page

If you go to the show webpage and click on the box "Listen for free"
this will take you to another page withe the rss link.
Just right click on the link and post it into the podcast app in mysbox
I have just tried it with "10 things that scare me"

That's a live stream, if you click on "Shows" that will give what is available as a podcast

If you have the Podcasts plugin - go to its settings, add the following (apply, and podcasts will then be listed in the plugin):

Thanks to all above, as usual!
I got myself a tad confused between the Podcasts plugin for LMS, and the Podcasts App for MySB.com. Now I have both, and can pull up a list of New Sounds podcast episodes either in LMS or in MySB.com. (And I can save the WNYC live stream of New Sounds as a Favorite too, but that's a separate issue).
Here's where I'm a tad still confused.... At the moment on a player connected to MySB.com, I have on my Home Screen (amongst other things) FAVORITES (radio streams) and PODCASTS (of which the sole content is NEW SOUNDS list of recent podcasts. I'm quite happy with that. Excelt that on the PODCAST section of the MySB.com webpage - via which I added my NEW SOUNDS podcast list - it says:
Podcasts
Category: Podcast Services
Use this list to manage your favorite music streams and other items you'd like to access quickly on your Squeezebox. Items in this list appear in the "Favorites" menu on the home menu of your Squeezebox.
But the Podcast list I've added *does not* appear in my Favorites menu on any player, whether connected to LMS or MySB......
As I said, no big deal - FAVORITES and PODCASTS are now next to each other on the Home Menu in either circumstance, and that's easy enough to manage. But, am I missing something?LMS 8.0.1 (1606118512)
