The music in this tune reminds me very much of "Telegraph Road" from the "Love Over Gold" album.
And speaking of Mark, I think his music is just awesome. I have all Dire Straits and about all Mark's albums including the ones with Chet Atkins & Emmylou Harris.
And he puts on a right fine show!Main system - Rock Solid with LMS 7.9.4 Official on WHS 2011 - 2 Duets and Squeeseslave

Test system - LMS 8.0 nightly on Win10Pro - Squeezeplay
Squeezebox Boom - "At Large" player around both home and cabin
Headphones and car - Android phone/Bluetooth w/full library on MicroSD card - PowerAmp music player app (similar to Material Skin)

I do agree with the comments about Mark Knopfler's music from Dire Straits and beyond - I have a good selection of his CDs, and the rest I often play on Spotify.
In fact, I reckon 'This Is Us' fits the original parameters of this thread rather well.

'Between the devil and the deep blue sea' - George Harrison
'Dream a little dream of me' - The Mamas and the Papas
Neither of them particularly 'high energy', but both very catchy.

Again, not real high energy, but definitely wonderful songs that I find my self singing along with, loudly, harmonies and all!
