That's a good question. For a while I was adding every suggestion made here to a growing playlist, but as if to emphasise how 'personal' such a list is I found I was periodically reverting (mostly) to the ones I'd suggested! That's not to say that I didn't appreciate the suggestions from others - many of them were already on my 300+ track in-car playlist - but for my own personal definition of 'catchy' (instant impact and/or prominent beat and/or wide-ranging melody*) they didn't all fit the bill. The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same thing, so I'm quite comfortable that my tastes don't align perfectly with anybody else's.

So from a quick scan through this thread, my own personal list of the catchiest songs would have to include:
Bee Gees - You Win Again
    Take That - Shine
    Supertramp - It's Raining Again
Roy Orbison - You Got It
The Mavericks - Dance The Night away
    Mike Oldfield - Moonlight Shadow
Katrina and the Waves - Walking on Sunshine
    Fleetwood Mac - Tusk
    Andrew Gold - Lonely Boy
    Proclaimers - 500 miles
Space Raiders - Song for Dot
They Might Be Giants - Birdhouse In Your Soul
    Mark Knopfler - Going Home
Mark Knopfler - This Is Us
George Harrison - Between the devil and the deep blue sea
The Mamas and the Papas - Dream a little dream of me
George Harrison - Got my mind set on you
Monty Python - Always look on the bright side of life
..and maybe one or more versions of that "Log Driver's Song" :-)

I must admit I got a bit behind with many of the suggestions in the last few pages of this thread - there's quite a few I've yet to seek out and listen to.

    * and I realise, after compiling this, that I don't really have a clear definition of what I mean! I just know them when I hear them!

Your turn w3wilkes :-) (or anyone else for that matter)

Aw Chill, if you're including Monty Python's Always Look on the Bright Side of Life then you should salt the playlist with Sit on my Face and The Lumberjack Song. Great songs to sing when stuck in traffic with the windows down.

On a less ribald note, Van the Man singing Gloria if it hasn't been mentioned yet and Train's Drops of Jupiter are also good ones to belt out on the highway.
