    Album Naming Glitch Related to Online Music Service Integration?

    Here is the scenario: Favorited album (2 CD set) This Is The Moody Blues in Tidal. I have chosen to integrate online albums with my local library in LMS. It shows up under the albums tab on the interface as a single album named This Is The Moody Blues (Disc 2 of 2). This seems to be the default with any 2 CD sets integrated from Tidal (appends Disc 2 of 2 to album name). Within my local library my choice is to display multi disc sets as individual albums. I have since purchased and ripped this 2 CD set album and added it to my local library and did a complete rescan. My choice in OMSI is to display the local album only if it is repeated from the online music provider. Under the album tab in LMS I now see the name I chose for CD1 - This Is The Moody Blues (CD1) but for CD2 it displays This Is The Moody Blues (CD2) (Disc 2 of 2). It seems to be appending the "Disc 2 of 2" from the Tidal album name. I have checked the tags and there is no "Disc 2 of 2" in any of my local library tags. I have since tried unfavoriting the album in Tidal, removing the album from my local library and rescanning and then adding it back in and rescanning again and LMS still displays the wrong album name for CD2. Any ideas on a solution?

    I can confirm there's an issue with multi-disc online albums. We would
    have information about the disc number, but the path does not change,
    nor is the album ID. I'll have to review that logic.

    Thanks Michael. This isn't critical as everything still plays great but my OCD takes over.

    Iĺve been wondering about this and other similar tagging issues arising from OMLI.
    Would it be possible to extend the genre re-write routine to implement permanent over rides eg.

    Service. Tag. From. To.
    Tidal. Album. Original string Corrected string
    VB2.4 storage QNAP TS419p (NFS)
    Living Room Joggler & Pi4/Khadas -> Onkyo TXNR686 -> Celestion F20s
    Office Joggler & Pi3 -> Denon RCD N8 -> Celestion F10s
    Dining Room SB Boom
    Kitchen UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio)
    Bedroom (Bedside) Pi Zero+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones
    Bedroom (TV) & Bathroom SB Touch ->Denon AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s + Kef ceiling speakers
    Guest Room Joggler > Topping Amp -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes
    Everything controlled by iPeng & Material on iOS

    Oh no!... next request would be: can we have the same for non-online
    items? What about tracks? Disc grouping? It's a can of worms I should
    not have opened...

    I believe this is fixed in the next 8.0.1 build. Please give it another
    try (in an hour or two).

    But you did open it!!
    Non online isnĺt relevant. The answer to anyone who asked for it would be - mp3tag!

    Will this also work on multi disc albums on Qobuz? Right now going through boxsets pretty much gives you just a super long playlist with no way of knowing what disc you're on. Thanks.

    Loaded the latest build followed by a complete clear and rescan of the library and the problem still seems to be there.

    What exact revision are you using? With "group discs" enabled I get one
    album for your Moody Blues case, without that option it's two. I tested
    with a bunch more albums like Prince's Sign'o The Times (Super Deluxe
    Edition) 5-disc set.
