    Tidal on LMS not working....?

    Hi All,

I have an old Vortexbox/ Liv Zen (precursor to Innuos) CD ripper/server with LMS 2.4V

It is connected to home WiFi system and I use my laptop with Windows 7 to control the server using LMS

I had problems playing Tidal for a while - when I press play (a song or an album) it takes time to for the sound to come out.... (a buffering issue...?)

Then now it has completely stopped playing - i.e. LMS shows the Tidal track is playing but no sound comes out.

Vortexbox is directly connected to Gustard 9 dac with USB

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks

    Cheers

    Hi,
I have had issues with Tidal too.
It might have been related to an Tidal plugin update.
Have you tried to set the streaming quality in the plugin, when connected to the player.
My subscription gives mp3, but it does not work until i make sure it is set to mp3.

Might be an https issue. "Old Vortexbox" might be using outdated OpenSSL
    and related libraries.

Make sure you're running the latest and greatest VB. If in doubt get in
    touch with the VB guys.
