    That gives me

    That explains why it failed on the autorun too. You're missing a python dependency, which is strange as Python3 includes urllib as part of the base install. What version of python is on that machine?

    Just typing python is 2.7.16
    Typing python3 gives me 3.7.3
    Do I need to edit something?

    Make sure the python command in the service file mentions the correct path for python3.

    Itĺs very likely /usr/bin/python3

    Do I need a delay before the updater runs?

    Yes I just tried running the exact command from the service file and that also works. Maybe I need a delay.

    Adding a simple sleep 30s before the updater gives me this after it fails
    Code:
    pi@raspberrypi:~ $ python3 updater.py
    ngrok inspection error: HTTPConnectionPool(host='192.168.0.197', port=4040): Max retries exceeded with url: /api/tunnels (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPConnection object at 0xb5aa83d0>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 111] Connection refused'))

    Even adding
    ExecStartPost=/bin/sleep 30
    doesn't work but it doesn't give the error I saw earlier.
