Erlands plugins no longer in repository

I had a problem with libraries on LMS and decided to clear cache through the Control Panel in Windows 10...

That kind of worked as expected with all third party plugins having to be re-selected. Except that the Trackstat plugin had disappeared from the repository along with all of Erlands plugins.

I recalled that this was mentioned by another user in the last couple of days.

Is this a permanent loss or will they be coming back?

I have managed to find what I think is the latest Trackstat version (2017) by direct download but I'm reluctant to install it yet in case it reappears in the repository.

Is this one for the attention of @mherger?

Is it because something hasn't been updated to allow use with LMS 8.0.0?

Already checked that - maxversion is set to * in the version I downloaded so it should be fine in LMS 8.

I'm trying to put it in place manually at the moment but not getting it to work (yet).

Which version is it? In Erlands repo the latest I could find was

    plugin name="TrackStat" version="3.3.602" minTarget="7.6.0" maxTarget="7.*">

Which might explain why it doesn't appear in the plugin list.

The version I found was the same, the only difference as follows...

    plugin name="TrackStat" version="3.3.602" minTarget="7.6.0" maxTarget="*">

I've had to install it into 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Squeezebox\server\Plugins' rather than into 'C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins\ Plugins'

It's running now but I'm waiting for it to carry out a full refresh based on my last saved data backup from two nights ago. I remember Trackstat refresh can take quite a time.

Trackstat is working as expected now but it's a pity it isn't available from the repository any more. For my purposes it's the only one of Erlands plugins that I use.

I'll archive my downloaded copy to try future proofing a little.

They are marked as compatible with 7.* in the repository files, so they aren’t available yet if you use 8.0 and want to download them through the repository files. I plan to update repository files as compatible with 8.0 in the not too distant future, just need to find some time. It’s possible to download them manually and install them since their install.xml file says maxVersion=* but that means that they won’t be updated automatically if I release a new version through the repository. At the moment I don’t have any plans to release new plugin versions, my only plan is to mark the old versions as compatible with 8.0.
