    Picorplayer name

I changed the name of my picoreplayer but it at the next reboot, the player reverts to its default name.

How can I make the new name persistent?

First, there are two names. Device name and squeezelite name. The squeezelite name can be changed without a reboot.

You just have to press the save button.

I know there are two names. It's the name in the LMS system I am referring to (Squeezelite name).

I can change the name on the screen by going to the settings screen, and select "Squeezebox name" I input the new name and touch "Done". Then I go to settings again and select "pircoreplayer" and then "save settings to SD card. But when I later reboot the systeem, that name is gone and its again the default name (picoreplayer) that is displayed. So I am looking for a way of making it survive a reboot.

I don't understand, where do you see the 'done' button. Use the 'save' button in the lower part of the page.

Then you should be able to reboot and maintain the new name.

Oh I see now, you mean the web-interface.

The way I described was through the touchscreen of the picore player and that didn't work properly.

Via de web-interface it worked now.

    Thank you
