I've got the Zipp 2 and it works fine with the airplay plugin too. It has one problem, pointed out in another thread, that when it connects to my wifi network the first time it comes on with max volume. I have to standby to adjust immediately so as not to bug who ever is in earshot (kid, neighbours).

But my biggest problem though is not Zipp related, its Ben Stokes. I'm an Aussie and old enough to have suffered through Botham at Headingley and now this!

I noticed this whilst on holiday, and couldn't resist ordering another one (I now have 2) for £130! My previous cost me £150... Thanks for posting the price

My current device is on firmware 708 - but I have not updated further due to the next version breaking AirPlay1 support (I only use these speakers with LMS). This is supposedly fixed in a later firmware version, but as 708 works for me I'm hesitant to upgrade further. The newer speaker I've updated to firmware 665, but the next update wants to add AirPlay2 support - so would be newer than 708. Once again I'm hesitant. Have you updated your speaker to the latest firmware version? If so, does it still work with the AirPlay bridge? And what firmware version is this? (You can check the version by accessing the speaker's settings in the Libratone app).

    Portable Airplay Speaker

I have a zip mini firmware version 809 and it works with LMS without problems.

Craig. It’s on 809 and seems to work fine with LMS except RP where it sometimes doesn’t jump to the next track correctly

One other annoyance when used in conjunction with iPeng. If my iPhone is connected to the speaker by Bluetooth while I’m using iPeng to control it via LMS / Airplay and I close iPeng it also stops the playback. Disconnect from Bluetooth and all ok
