would it be better to resize the sd card partition to the whole card?

more presence actually using the Allo Digione.
I have burned a second card with the "audio" kernel and I use it in a rpi3b my bro gave me. Just for experiment... it's not my main setup!
I have some pops with usb output at the beginning of playback in 44.1KHz but its ok after some secs. In higher rates the pops are present constantly!
Also it can't update to b7 ... I get this msg: "There was a error downloading alsa-modules-4.19.80-rt25-pcpAudioCore_v7.tcz."
Is there something i can do?
