Allo Digione Signature Player

I've been enjoying the Allo Digione Signature Player in my system for a couple of days now but if anyone else out there is using a similar solution as a Squeezebox, can you help me with changing the name of the player? Changing the name the old way works fine until the Pi reboots or LMS stops/starts up, then it reverts back to the default one. How do I permanently change the name of the player? This device is using Allo diet pi.

Your player is squeezelite, you need to change the name on the squeezelite tab and save.

I've been in the Squeezelite preference panes via the web based config screens in diet pi and there is only an option for changing the hostname which isn't the same thing.

Probably because that’s an option when you buy a prebuilt Allo Digione. PiCorePlayer isn’t IIRC
