No ... just the video part (JiveLite).
The audio part was reported as working fine.

    Hello there,
do anyone facing any issue with C-3PO plugin and PiCorePlayer 6 Beta7?
here is the mesage i get for my Rasp3 with latest Beta
Squeezelite version is non compliant (Squeezelite-R2).
Unable to run C-3PO transcoder, fault back to PERL. See server log.

On the opposite, for my squeezebox radio i got this messge from C-3PO:
Unable to run C-3PO transcoder, fault back to PERL. See server log.
Player is not Squeezelite-R2, assuming is compliant.

As well here are part of my logs:

I've managed to get Jivelite to display on the Pirate Audio display, but I need to do some more work to clean it up.

The fix was to build the 'fbcp' daemon, found here - https://github.com/tasanakorn/rpi-fbcp

Once this daemon is running it copies the screen from the Pi's main HDMI display to whatever is connected to /dev/fb1, and I first managed to get it to work on Raspbian by following these instructions - https://facelesstech.wordpress.com/2...-raspberry-pi/

On PiCoreplayer it exits on being run by default due to the process not being able to access the display. I got it working by commenting out all three of the memory saving settings in boot.txt. Not sure which one is relevant at the moment - I'll do some more tests when I can next work on the device tomorrow, when I'll do some more cleaning up to see if I can make the display look better.

That sounds great, this is a device I┤m interested in for building a portable player

    Thank you

More playing with the Pirate Audio board. I've added several "dtoverlay=gpio-key" lines to config.txt to map the GPIO buttons to keys, and the soundcard no longer works. Still digging around in case I've broken something else in the process.

After some digging, it's this line that breaks things:

    Code:
    dtoverlay=gpio-key,gpio=20,keycode=1
which makes me believe that something in the soundcard driver is also using GPIO 20. With the line enabled, squeezelite doesn't start, but the key mapping to the button works as expected.

    bluetooth device name

Phone -> Bluetooth Sink -> pcp-Streamer -----creates a playable stream of what is coming from your phone. Then point whatever player you want to play the stream. (You can create a favorite on LMS)

    Pros:
Any device on your LMS network can listen to what is coming from your phone.
You can sync your players to this stream.

    Cons:
Just cannot connect to a device and press play....Requires using LMS to pick what you want to hear.

To allow the pCP device to just play the audio sync could easily cause conflicts and crashes if you were to accidentally try to play to the pCP device via bluetooth and LMS at the same time.
    Hi,

I've got this connected and I can ssh on and play using the command :
    bluealsa-aplay -d plughw:CARD=sndrpijustboomd,DEV=0 00:00:00:00:00:00

what I'm stumped by is what to put in the device name for the streamer I've tried:
    bluealsa:HCI=hci0,DEV=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX,PROFILE=a2 dp

with my address but as yet no sound also that doesn't work when combined with arecord

    arecord -vD "bluealsa:device=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX" test.wav

ALSA lib pcm.c:2564snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM bluealsa:device=...

    Thanks,
    M

    Jeff,

I'll dump the entire site cache, but if that doesn't get it you can switch to our mirror. Its the sourceforge site, so it might be a bit slower.

Because your not using the proper device. The device format changed in recent versions of bluealsa. Take a look here https://github.com/Arkq/bluez-alsa.

If you are just trying to play from your phone.
    1) Install pCP Streamer
    2) Pair Phone
    3) Connect Phone
    4) Start playing from your phone
    5) Connect to stream (You need to make sure that you start playing the stream after your phone is connected, since the device name is not known until the phone connects.)
